TS-20 Glass Matting Paste

Designed for matting surfaces with a high silicon content: sheet glass, glassware, mirrors, porcelain, ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, granite, etc. Appearance: a white, cream-like paste. Odor: virtually nonexistent. The matting cream contains no acids, emits no gases during use, does not irritate the skin, and has a pH of 3.5. The matting compound is applied evenly in a layer 2–3 mm thick to a degreased surface: glass, porcelain, granite, ceramic tiles, etc.; the paste reacts with the silicon in the top layer of the glass to a depth of about 25 microns. To create a design, apply a film with the desired pattern. After 15 minutes, the process is complete, and the matting cream is collected in a jar for future use. Rinse off any residue with water. The result is an opaque, smooth, matte surface that does not show fingerprints. The image does not wash off or wear away, which is characteristic of frosted glass. The matting paste can be reused. Coverage is approximately 24 m² per 1 kg.
